Tree care has been a passion of mine since I was a kid.  My father owned a tree care company during the 1970’s when Dutch Elm Disease started to devastate our area.  I remember thinking there must be a way to stop this from killing all our trees.  This passion led me to pursue a degree in urban forestry from Stevens Point Wisconsin.  After graduation in 1986 I moved to Chicago to work for a national company where I worked in the field performing tree care services and applying my knowledge and skills to save trees.  After 1 year of performing all aspects of tree care in the field I became an ISA certified arborist and moved into a consulting role where I developed tree care plans assisting clients with their tree concerns.

 
In 1996 My wife and I decided to move our family back home to the Minneapolis area and apply my degree and 10 years of experience to help people with their trees and provide cost effective solutions to maintain them.  My experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with many people and businesses in the Twin Cities area.  I truly feel blessed to have a job working outside and helping people with their trees.
